The burial procedures of the deceased person vary depending on where and how they died. If the deceased person died at home due to natural causes, the “Death Certificate” and “Burial Permit Certificate” are obtained by applying to the health affairs of the municipality where the death took place with the original identity card of the deceased person or a sample of the identity register or residence card/passport information. After the death certificate is obtained, the relevant health institution notifies the Population Directorate of the death within a maximum of 10 days.
